About

Our most popular all-day lighthouse cruise is back!

Join us to see the light stations of the Downeast and the Bold Coast of Maine to Grand Manan Island in the Bay of Fundy! Chris Mills, former Canadian lighthouse keeper of eleven lights over nine years and author of “Vanishing Lights” along with Bob Trapani Jr., Director of the American Lighthouse Foundation and Maine lighthouse author/writer, will talk about about the rich history of the lighthouses as well as their experiences working at feature light stations.  Zack Klyver, with over 20 years of experience guiding  Bar Harbor Whale Watch Company boat cruises, will identify and describe the rich natural and cultural history of the coast as well as wildlife seen during the cruise.

During the cruise there will be many opportunities to take incredible photographs of lighthouses, coastal scenery, wildlife, islands of the Maine coast and Bay of Fundy.

Featured lighthouses-

Maine: Winter Harbor*, Prospect Harbor, Petit Manan, Narraguagus (Pond Island), Nash Island, Moose Peak, Libby Island, Little River, West Quoddy, and Lubec Channel

Canada: Head Harbour, Mulholland Point *Long Eddy, Swallowtail, Great Duck Island, Long Point, Gannet Rock, Southwest Head, and Machias Seal.
